I created this blog several years ago and never really got it started. I'm here this morning because a dear pet of a friend passed last night. I'm in tears as I write this because I also knew and loved this little darling cat named Shiraz.
Shiraz is the sister of my cat, Prosper. Shiraz had a very good life but should have had more years by all accounts. She was well taken care of with tons of love. She had been sick for many months and had many visits to the vet but gradually declined over time.
I am dedicating this blog to her and her memory. I've dealt with the loss of a pet before and I know how hard it can be. This blog will have posts honoring pets; mostly dogs and cats but all pets are welcome. First join the Facebook group and post a picture and comment there. We may select and copy your post here so it will last as long as Blogger and the Internet lasts for easy search to look back on.
